Home to more than 2,200 students and 130 faculty members, the University of South Florida College of Education values high-quality education and excellence in research, teaching and learning. Their college is nationally accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and their educator preparation programs are fully approved by the Florida Department of Education.

When the NTA visited USF for their first stop, the students were amazed at how immersive the atmosphere was. USF recognizes how many teachers and administrators are needed, and gave our students insight into how to achieve those particular professions with the right schooling. USF offers a creative, interactive environment to empower future educators, making the students feel confident about the field of education. The NTA got to showcase what it is that they do as well, and USF was extremely supportive of the NTA's goals for future educators. We thank USF for welcoming us to their campus, and look forward to exploring new endeavors with everyone in the education program!

The College of Community Innovation and Education will be the anchor to UCF Downtown, a 21st-century campus that will increase access for students, provide pathways into high-demand career fields, foster collaboration with our neighbors in meaningful ways and improve countless lives through the power of education.

The second stop of the trip was at the University of Central Florida, and the students of the NTA were beyond excited to see all of the amazing opportunities that UCF offers for future educators. We were able to collaborate with faculty experts, and engaged in community based experiences throughout the campus. Our students were also fond of the expansive gym that UCF had to offer, giving the students a place to decompress from any school work. The faculty and staff of UCF help each one of their students achieve their goals, an are always available for any help needed. Thank you for being a hot spot for future educators, UCF!

The College of Education at the University of Florida is No. 1 in the 2019 U.S. News & World Report rankings of America's Best Online Graduate Education Programs, following three consecutive years in the top two - securing No. 1 in 2015 and 2016 and No. 2 in 2017. UF jumped five spots this year to No. 14 among the nation's public education colleges in U.S. News & World Report's 2019 annual rankings of America's Best Graduate Education Schools.

The University of Florida was the third stop of the NTA trip, and the students were beyond excited to have their wondrous questions answered by the faculty of the College of Education. The students got to ask the staff of the education department any questions that they had, and the department made it clear that they were setting up students for success. The university offers extensive technological advances in their campus, and removes potential barriers of cost and location for their incoming students from high school. To the University of Florida, education is more than a job. It's a passion.

FSU College of Education was the NTA's final stop, but it definitely didn't disappoint. Their program proves to nurture each student, as the admin explained to the students about financial aid, counseling, and opportunities to make the new students feel welcome on their campus. FSU proves to be an innovator of education, their highly functioning, immersive, technical area showing off just that. The students fell in love with how interactive the atmosphere of FSU really was, and appreciated all of their great advice on the world of education! The students presented about the NTA, and the team of FSU was blown away by the students' successes. FSU is a university that takes education to heart, putting in the effort to make an interactive environment for future educators!
